Al-Rajhi Steel Features its Products in the Big Five Exhibition in Dubai




Al-Rajhi Steel Company participated in the "Big Five Exhibition 2011", held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and through a wing exhibiting the latest products of different types of iron.
The exhibition, which is the largest for the construction industry and building in the Middle East, has attracted more than 2500 exhibitors from 70 countries, providing the latest technologies and services in the building and construction markets. While the number of visitors reached 49 thousand visitors, it has represented an increase of 6 percent compared with numbers of visitors in the exhibition gallery of 2010.
The initial reactions from visitors and exhibitors to this year's event indicated a tremendous success, the attendance was good and visitors were serious, as well as acquisition of information and advertising by the exhibitors , in addition to presenting the latest technology of the new regional and international companies through the exhibition.
The Big Five events are held in Dubai annually for more than 30 years, and this year witnessed a major development in the content of the exhibition, adding many of the added values such as launching more than 130 free educational seminars about different products. The Exhibition contained sections to display the special products, in addition to the traditional national halls, which amounted to 32 halls, and events that re-emerged this year's such as Gaia and the Platinum Club awards.
The (Big Five) 2011 exhibition also witnessed the launch of the Green Building Conference attended by more senior leaders persons in the real estate sector in the region, who spoke at the conference for more than 250 members of the delegations participating in the construction and real estate sectors. The attendees views revealed their strong desires to develop sustainability in the real estate sector in the region, as more than 90% of the respondents saw that sustainability is not enough, at the same time 92% of them felt it was not too late to preserve the environment and protect the Middle East, and 60% saw that it is possible for trade and environmental factors to work together
