
A distinguished presence to Rajhi Steel in the Metal Industries Exhibition in Cairo


Rajihi Steel participated in a unique pavilion in the activities of the International Exhibition for the Metal Industries that is a pioneer in the industry, steel products, metal constructions, and shaping and operating the metal in Africa and the Middle East. The exhibition was opened by the minister of industry and external trade, Dr. Samir Alssayyad, on the last 28, April in the Cairo International Center for Conferences in Egypt, where more than 120 Arab and foreign companies from 19 countries around the world participated in it. The Exhibition included one of the most important strategic heavy industries in the country that is the industry of steel and metal which has witnessed a lot of big investments in the last period. Multi nationalities companies and the countries that are not in the Middle East have started to change their minds about Egypt after the event of 25, January. They think that Egypt will be livelier in all levels in the upcoming period and all the positive effects of the revolution will give a real opportunity for the investments and works in the upcoming future. Mr. Ahmed Mujahid, the manager of “the Arab German Company for Exhibitions” the organizer of the exhibition, commented that “meanwhile, the importance of the specialized exhibitions are coming on surface that push the market forward and are considered as the most important propagandas plus attracting the technology and investments so the concern of the participants that the exhibition had this year is a good proof of that; in order to make an effective role which reflects the resistance and strength of Egyptian experiences and the uniqueness of the working cadres that are able to meet the most difficult political and economic situations that the country is facing nowadays.”
Mr. Ahmed added that “the exhibition witnessed this year a strong presence to Arab, European and Asian companies and attracted the most famous global companies from many countries to the pioneers of metal industries from Egypt.
The exhibiting companies focused on exploiting the few available opportunities they’ve had currently and affirming their presence in the increasing developed market. They intended to show the best and in a suitable price that fits the current period.
The session of this year also witnessed the first Arab conference specialized in the metal constructions, which was held on the third day of the exhibition 30, April, 2011 in “Munggari’a Hall”. It was launched in order to upgrade all the field elements through presenting a new vision to every stage of the work stages and to propagate the latest procedures and the used technology which give more new opportunities and solutions to the upcoming challenges
The Metal and Steel Exhibition aims to establish an annual Arab gathering in Cairo; that gathers the makers of steel and metal constructions for more cooperation and let the Arab visitors recognize the metal industries in addition to increase amount of the commercial exchange between the Arab countries. Then it is going to reinforce the growth of this sector through presenting it as a stand in order to support the effective contact among the different makers, exporters, and customers in the region. The exhibition witnessed increasing visitors despite of the current situations.
